Change happens to be a factor in tension management. Being able to manage and deal with the worries that comes with change. Change, in whatever form, can be met by 50 percent ways either it is welcomed or it’s not.
People are always afraid of change that takes place in their lives. Which is maybe why many people become stressed because of it. Maybe it is the unexpected that may stress out people when change happens in their own lives. And there will vary ways and stages that people react to change that happen in their lives.
The most common reaction to change is shock as well as surprise. When confronted by unexpected situations for example accidents or other unexpected events, surprise is apparently the immediate response for many people. Such scenarios make people realize that certain plans and designs one has made in existence can reach a few unexpected changes. The particular realization that there’s nothing permanent can be a source of stress for some people since change may come as an unexpected.
Some people react to alter with denial and refusal to accept change. Some people even try to bring out certain beliefs in order to support in which any change is not necessary. This may be a secondary reaction to change after the surprise and shock period.
At times, people move on from surprise and often denial to a rational understanding of change. Individuals may see that change may actually be required in certain situations which there are reasons why modifications happen. Through this, people begin to learn how to find ways on how to deal with the situation. But at this point people may still not be willing to have change affect their behavior but rather find several means to remedy the situation rather.
Change can sometimes lead people to react in 2 different ways. At specific points, change may reach a certain level where it becomes an emergency. At this point, people either can accept it or perhaps totally avoid it. When people learn to accept the alteration, no matter how unpleasant, they aren’t affected by the stress that is included with it as much as those that may wish to avoid or perhaps ignore change. Avoiding evident changes, particularly the unpleasant ones, will often lead to additional tension to people.
Trying to fight one’s own way in coping with change other than taking it can sometimes be a lost cause. Clashes, both internal and external may possibly arise and give substantial stress to people. It is just after learning how to take the changes that will help discharge some of the burden in which denial and rejection to accept change brings along.
